An edition of the manifesto and signature sheet for the Krefeld initiative, one of the largest ecological and peace initiatives of the 1980's, which called for the end of German approval for the deployment of medium range nuclear missiles and a moratorium against the NATO nuclear arms race following Reagan's suspension of the ratification of the Salt II treaty. By 1983 over 4 million individuals and organizations had signed onto the petition. The text was written by Josef Weber, and distributed in numerous variations by different groups from 1980-83.
