The first American edition of this translation of Le Tarot Astrologique, first published in 1927. This translation was first published in London by Rider in 1928. The illustrations, though not credited here, are based upon the remarkable designs of Henri Armengol, though printed here as black and white line drawings instead of the full color illustrations of the French edition.
Though published by a major American publisher, the American edition is scarcer than the first British edition. OCLC locates only two holdings. This copy has a superb example of the original dust jacket, by far the nicest we've seen.
Fine in a dust jacket that shows some faint traces of soiling to the back panel, and a touch of fraying to the tips else fine. Item #29792
