The poster announcement for this early Happening organized by Lebel and Jouffroy, incorporating the work of Victor Brauner, Wilfredro Lam, Jorge Camacho, Oyvind Fahlstrom, Roberto Matta, Henri Michaux, Jacques Prevert, Tancredi, M. Watteau, Enrique Zanartü and others.

The lower portion of the poster is taken up with a manifesto entitled "Pour le Droit de L'Homme a Disposer de Lui-Même", to which François Dufrene, Bona, Roland Bouvier, Cardenas, Bernard Dufour, Jacuqes Gambier de la Forterie, Max-Pol Fouchet, Philippe Hiquily, André Pieyre de Mandiargues, Manina, Andre-Poujet, and René de Solier are signatories.

Several old fold lines, with a 1" chip to lower right tip, not affecting text, a 3" closed tear to left margin, and pinholes to tips from being tacked up, and old cellotape ghosts to margins. A worn and fragile example, but an important and rare document. Item #25609
