International Times No. 17

London: International Times, 1967. Tabloid format, printed on newsprint with spot color. Denoted as Colour Reprint No. 17. There are at least two variants of this color reprint edition we've seen - this is the onle with dark purple text, rather than green.

Early issue of the longrunning an influential and longrunning underground newspaper, one of the best of the era. This issue leads with coverage of Michael Abdul Malik, an article on the Rolling Stones and Mick Jagger's legal troubles, with photographs, a bit on the Diggers and the Free Stores, a piece on Alexander Trocchi, a 2/3 page image of a work by John Furnival, centerfold interview between Richard Alpert and Michael Abdul Malik, Yoko Ononism & Her Hairy Arseholes, etc.

A very good, unfolded example, with some minor toning and light bumping to spine ends. Unfolded examples are scarce. Item #31468
