Youth International Party Line No. 12.
New York: YIPL, 1972. 4to, single sheet folded once. Offset printed on yellow paper stock.
Early issue of the legendary phone phreaking zine, which was affiliated with the Yippies and would deeply influence the development of computer hacking in the following decades. This issue includes a brief text on what to do about the new experimental system Ma Bell was using to detect phone phreaking following the publication of the Ramparts article, information and diagrams on making a blue box, a solicitation on information on the use of curdlers against protestors, etc.
Some faint scattered ink and pencil notations throughout, a telephone neatly written at last page, a sticker ghost to cover and creasing and closed tears to the fore edge, a well-used, good only example all the better for these traces of usage. Item #31119
