The text of a lecture on the promises of solar energy given at the University of California at Berkeley by the groundbreaking biochemist, who won the Nobel Prize in 1961 for his discover (along with Andrew Benson and James Bassham) of the Calvin cycle. OCLC locates no holdings; the only reference we can discover to the pamphlet or the text is in Brinley Thomas' essay "Towards An Energy Interpretation of the Industrial Revolution," which cites a "mimeographed" copy, and notes 1976 as the date of the lecture, confirmed by a reference to the year of the bicentennial in the text.
