Third issue of the important New Mexico little magazine, which captured the breadth of the early postwar bohemian scene in New Mexico. This issue is notable for including a rare appearance by Sara Dienes, 2 drawings and a painting, as well as visual art by John McKinney and Alfred Rogoway, and a photograph of Muriel Loran by Mildred Tolbert, all printed on tipped -in plates, as well as poetry and texts by Chris Bjerknes, Seymour Gresser, Henri Beauchamp, Tom McAfee, Muriel Loran, Scott Greer, Herbert Shaw, Lawrence Barth, Joe Wheeler Drennan, San Novit, Frederic Vanson, and poetry by Judson Crews and at least 2 of his heteronyms; Mason Jordan Mason and Cerise Farallon. This issue also includes Crews' text "A Noe on Obscenity in Henry Miller."
Collated and complete with all illustrations, though most of the tipped in plates are glue stained and have become detached and are laid in, as with every copy we've handled. Some moderate discoloration and staining to the wraps, else very good. Item #30986
