Reed International: Profile of a Transnational Corporation

Waterloo, Ontario: Ontario Public Research Group, 1977. Oversized tabloid format, [8] pp. incl. covers, printed in two colors on newsprint, and folded into fourths as issued.

The result of an indepth investigation into the corporation by OPRG, which at that time included among its members David Robertson, David Moffat, Joan Fischer, and Terry Moore. It includes a list of the company's products, their profits from apartheid, the company's terrible legacy of mercury poisoning on Native American Reservations in Ontario, and the mysterious theft of research materials on the company's effect on local forests from the University of Waterloo. The centerfold is a large scale diagram and map of the international reach and connections of the company. A superb, beautifully designed document and a model for the presentation of findings in activist research.

Paper lightly toned, else fine.
