Louisa, VA: Community Publications Cooperative, 1976-1980. First edition. 4to, mot issues about 64 pp, saddle-stapled in illustrated wraps. Printed on newsprint. Illustrated with drawings and photographs.
A lot of 14 issues of this longrunning periodical devoted to intentional communities, one of the main organs of the commune and back to the land movements in the 70's. Some issues had special themes. No. 24 was devoted to a directory of communes, and there are profiles of specific communes in several issues. Other themes including economics, health, sexual relations, work, architecture, etc. Many of the issues have great covers, particularly no. 23.
Mostly very good, with slightly rolled spines, toning to the impressionable newsprint, and the prior owner's address lable or name on several numbers, with the exception of one issue has some splitting along the spine. Item #30658
