Rohwedder was a magazine started in 1986 by a group of poets and writers in Los Angeles. The periodical ran to 8 numbers, including a zero number. The name, which could be translated into English as Rough Weather, was a reflection of the arts scene in LA at the time. This is a special issue devoted to Latin America, including contributions by Roque Dalton, Juan Felipe Herrera, Ruben Martinez, Gaspar Aguilar Diaz, Elia Arce, Sharon Marmon, Alberto Blanco, Victor Valle, Joanna Warwick, Fayad Jamis, Adrian Desiderato, Carlos Ernesto Garcia, Jorge Boccanera, and Clark Thompson.
