Item #30583 Silicon Gulch Gazette No. 37. Jim Warren, ed.
Silicon Gulch Gazette No. 37

Silicon Gulch Gazette No. 37

Woodside, CA: Wireless Digital, 1983. Tabloid format, 24 pp incl. covers. Unbound, folded sheets.

A single issue of Jim Warren's legendary computer newsletter, this issue published in July of 1983, including a small announcement for the upcoming August 17th meeting of the Homebrew Computer Club at Stanford, and otherwise largely taken up with material relating to the upcoming first IBM PC Faire, incliding a diagram of the convention and list of exhibitors.. Also, an article on the history of personalities in the early computer industry by Warren, an article on the opening of the Computer Literacy Bookshop, run by Dan Doenberg, photographs from the 8th West Coast Computer Faire, and more.

Addressed and mailed with two recipient labels, an ink notation on the first reading "not at this address." Some annotation brackets in ink to the list of speakers at the IBM Faire. Newsprint smudged at cover with some minor marginal chipping and other wear. Despite stated faults, a complete and sound example of one of the scarcest and most important early computing newsletters.
