Skool Resistance: Toward a Total Alternative to Skool, a Plan of Action

Palo Alto, CA: Learning is Living, [1971]. First edition. 8vo, 15 pp, saddle-stapled wraps.

A critique of education by the social activist published 4 years before he became co-founder of the Homebrew Computer Club, arguably the most influential hobbyist group of the 20th century. Moore, who died in an auto accident in 1997, was an early activist in pacifist, anti-draft, and education reform movements, who urged fellow members of the HCC "to bring back more than you take."

The HCC included Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak of Apple as a member, and Wozniak credits the first meeting of the group has having directly inspired the creation of the Apple Computer. A fascinating artifact of the utopian and social activist that that laid the framework for Apple.

Wraps lightly faded, else fine.
