Girard, Kansas: Haldeman-Julius, 1923. 32mo, saddle-stapled in blue wraps. Gibbs 301, in the LBB (1) binding.
Finger, the Arkansan wanderer, folklorist, musicologist, and adventurer, was one of the most interesting writers of the Little Blue Book Series, and this is one of his most charming works- a collection of sea chanties and cowboy songs in which the songs are put into an autobiogrpahical narrative, beginning with his time spent as a castaway on Vellarino Island.
Near fine with a touch of rubbing to spine ends and small abrasion to back cover. Item #30383
