Johnson Oorlogs-Misdadiger. Volgens Rechtsnormen Van Neurenberg en Tokio
[Amsterdam]: [1968]. 12 x 17" poster, printed on red on recto only.
The legend translates roughly as "Johnson is a war criminal according to the jurisdiction of Nuremberg and Tokyo". The poster became one of the most iconic protest posters of the anti-war movement. Several photographs of the poster being brandished survived, including an iconic ANP shot of a diver dragging a raft through a canal bearing a board pasted down with two of the posters.
The posters were printed by the legendary Provo printer Rob Stolk.
Heavily creased and worn, folded twice, and some short closed tears and toning to margins. Good only. Item #30241
