Wuppertal: Verlag der Kalender, 1961. First edition. Large 4to, pp, double leaves bound in unprinted card wraps, and housed in a printed dust jacket. Text in French and German. Designed by Wolf Vostell.
In the year prior to the publication of the first issue of Decollage, Vostell designed and published this artists' book which prints 23 full page silkscreens made from Decollages found in the streets of Paris, alongside a poem by Dufrêne and some concrete poetry, and a text by Jouffroy.
A very good example, with some toning, a couple small stains to wraps, and a narrow strip of abrading to fore edge of back wrapper. The printed dust jacket, however is in battered shape, mostly torn at the spine with some old tape reinforcement, two small holes to front panel, some stray ballpoint ink marks in red to cover, and other wear, inclduding some marginal tears and creasing.
