Ear Magazine Vol. 5, No. 5

New York: New Wilderness Foundation, 1980. First edition. Tabloid format, 16 pp. including covers.

Single issue of the longrunning artists' periodical devoted to avant-garde music, which was associated with, and later published above, the famous Ear Inn on Spring Street. This issue is a special issue devoted to sound environments, and includes a legnthy interview with Max Neuhaus, Brian En o (a short bit on definitions of ambient music and the playing of Music for Airports at La Guardia, all taken from the liner notes, I think), musical drawings by Rhonda Wall, the use of the tambourine in Ancient Western Asia, and more.

Folded once, with toning - heavy along fold lines - and a few droplet stains to front fold. About very good. Item #30143

Price: $45.00
