Business Card for the Village Corner Tavern
New York: Village Corner Tavern, c. 1960's. 2 x 3 1/2" card, printed on red card stock.
An original business card from tavern, which was for many years the unofficial post office for a good portion of Village bohemia. The owner, Jim Smith, used to rent out 64 mail lock boxes to proprietors. the location had been a speakasy in the teens, and later became the site of the Village Grill.
Very good with some ink staining to verso. Item #30004
