The unfathomably rare second issue of the irregularly published little magazine which anticipated and would eventually become Writers Forum, and which was irregularly published in only 5 numbers from 1954 to 2010. Though the work within is largely poetry and prose, the beautiful design of the little magazine, especially the drawings and the ampersand symbol on the cover offer a hint of the concrete poetry in magazine design that would come.
With two very early poems by Bob Cobbing, John Rowan with an essay on Jack Kerouac, and work by Gerda Mayer, Vera Leff, Mary Berry, Jean Salisbury,, Wendy Stockham, Cento, Maurice Langham, Lois Hieger, Brian Merton Gould, Else Hirsch, John Wain, Nancy Taylor, and Stephen Joseph.
