Columbus, Ohio: Tet Offensive Productions, 1982. First edition. 8vo, saddle-stapled wraps.
The predecessor to Anstaett's longrunning related fanzine, The Offense Newsletter. While the Newsletter opted for speed and slenderness, each issue of the TKA Offense was a dense, substantial accumulation of articles, and later issues grew to as long as 70 pages in length. As well as extensive coverage of the local Ohio scenes, there was also extensive coverage of bands from abroad, a slew of intelligent record and fanzine reviews, scene reports from abroad and around the US, and material relating to politics, art, and poetry.
This issue includes Human Switchboard on the cover, results of the 1981 year end readers' polls, Randy Payton on DADA, and a slew of reviews (most of this issue), live, records, and otherwise, along with US scene reports.
A couple light creases else fine. Item #29421
