np: . 4to, four sheets mimeographed from typsecript and holograph, side-stapled into a cover sheet of cream card stock with the title handwritten in green marker at front panel. Signed by Micheline at the conclusion of the text, with a printed date of 13 of June, 1968. The address is given as Baptistown, NJ.
The rare first separate publication and the very first appearance of Micheline's best known work, produced months prior to the text's infamous appearance in Renaissance 2 in September of that year. Charles Bukowski had been guest editor for the issue, and solicited the story, which led to the arrest of the editor, John Bryan on charges of obscenity. Perhaps it was in this privately distributed edition that Bukowski first read the story.
Rare. OCLC locates only a single holding of this edition, at Emory.
Final leaf detached from staples, but present. Staples rusted, a horizontal fold line throughout, and some raggedness to the cover sheet, the edges of which extend a bit past the pages. Item #29167
