np: nd [c. 1960's]. 4to, nine leaves each gestetnered on both recto and verso, with the exception of the cover sheet which is gestetnered on the recto only. All leaves hole-punched along upper margin. Side-stapled.
A brilliant artist book consisting entirely of appropriated media images of coverage of the Kennedy assassination. Based upon the title and subject, we believe this to be an unrecorded artist book by Willard S. Bain, and a visual companion piece to his avant-garde science fiction novel Informed Sources: Day East Received, which was first published by the Diggers and printed by Communication Company. Based upon the quality of the Gestetner printing, and the use of hole-punched pages, we strongly believe this work to also be an unrecorded work published by the Diggers and Com/Co, who often used scavenged paper that was already hole-punched before printing.
Aforementioned hole punches, some faint foxing and minor indenting to staples, else near fine. Item #28973
