What Every Girl Should Known [Appeal Pocket Series No. 14]

Girard, Kansas: Appeal Publishing Company, [1920]. 32mo, saddle-stapled in blue wraps. Gibbs' 14b, in the APS binding.

A very early printing of one of the most important, early salvos in the Haldeman-Julius project, a widely distributed edition of Sanger's influential sex ed column that began to appear in 1912 in the New York Call. While the essays had appeared in that periodical and also were collected in 1916, the wide distribution and ready availability of this edition flouted the draconian American censorship laws with remarkable bravado.

A sturdy, very good example, with light page toning an some minor rubbing to wraps. Item #28769
