London: Suburban Press, 1971. 4to, ten leaves [first and last leaves printed on recto, then verso, only], side-stapled. Offset printed in black and white.
Second issue of the legendary Situationist-influenced, proto-punk art zine issued by the Suburban Press collective, which ran for six issues and included Jamie Reid as a member. Through Reid's work for the Sex Pistols, he would have an outsized effect on the look of the first generation punk movement, and this periodical is the first stirring in print of that look, and where Reid worked out the "ransom letter" style which would become ubiquitous post-1977.
This issue includes material on housing rights and corruption in the UK, Ulster, and collages and drawings by Reid.
Exceedingly rare in the trade.
Some creasing to final leaf, a few spots of foxing along spine, else near fine. Item #28719
