Censorship in Public Libraries. John Noyce, Gilbert Shelton.

Censorship in Public Libraries

Brighton, UK: John L. Noyce, 1977. First edition. 4to, 14, [9] pp, mimeographed from typescript and side-stapled. The cover is illustrated by the underground comic artist Gilbert Shelton.

A remarkable work on censorship in UK libraries, including reference to the work of the LfSC (Librarians for Social Change). The cover is illustrated with a Fat Freddy strip in which he barges into a library looking for the Fuck Books, a very scarce appearance of Shelton's work.

Fingermarks and some staining to wraps, else very good. Item #28507
