In England's Green & (A Garland and a Clyster)
San Francisco: Auerhahn Press, 1962. First edition. 8vo. String-bound in wraps. First edition, one of 750 copies. With a "compliments of the author" card laid in, as well as a printed letter on Auerhahn Press stationary from Dave Haselwood, soliciting funds to be sent directly to Mr. Williams as a sort of advance subscription so he could travel to England, a desire incurred by the preparation of this beautiful book. The letter closes by stating that "this would be of great use and would be a real service to American Letters."
The first example of this letter we've seen, a rare bit of Auerhahn ephemera and an intriguing look into the finance of a poet's work....
