New York: The Commune, 1968. Paperback. 8 1/2 x 11" sheets, , pages, mimeographed from typescript. April 8 issue a single sheet; second issue three stab-stapled leaves.
Two issues, and the only two issues we've seen, of this Situationist-influenced journal. The first issue appears to have been spurred by the assassination of Martin Luther King, and hastily composed mimeographed to come out on April 8, four days after his death. The second number follows some 19 days later, beginning with a quote from Paul Lafargue, and continuing with strong critiques of the SDS and SWP, as well as a manifesto against participation in elections.
