The first of three issues of the periodical, which was both allied with, and a proper antagonist for the Art & Language group in the UK. The periodical ceased rather spectacularly in the so-called "Lumpen-Headache" confrontations oin 1976, which lead the the dissolution of the US branch of A & L.
