Berne: Kunsthalle Berne, 1969. 4to, unpaginated, offset printed on pink and white paper stock, with alphabetized tabs, metal clip-bound into a printed manila folder. Text in German, English, French, and Italian. The first edition of the catalog, which was also published in a different edition by the ICA in London.
The catalog for one of the key, and most controversial exhibitions of the 1960's, which involved destruction both concrete (i. e. Michael Heizer's wrecking ball being dropped onto the sidewalk outside) and abstract - the ensuing controversy about the show led to Szeemann's resignation, and the launch of his freelance career as a curator with the Agency for Spiritual Guest Work.
