A complete run of this periodical which was the predecessor for Art & Language, published while Rushton and Pilkington were both first year students at Lancaster Polytechnic. The introduction to the second and last number states " This is the final issue of Analytical Art. The editors will subsequently be publishing in Art & Language."

With contributions from the editors and Graham Howards, Ian Burn, Mels Ramden, Peter Smith, Christopher Willsmore, and Ian Johnson.

Two brief annotations to the TOC of no. 1, the word "readable" written neatly in ink. Small green circular sticker to the back panel of each number. Some minor grubbiness to the wraps of the first issue, but very good. The second issue near fine. Item #27182
