The only issue of one more beautiful and unusual poetry magazines of the late 60's. The stark and beautiful imagery of the cover and internal images are taken from Billy Jahrmarkt's "Rose Birth", according to the back cover. Jahrmarkt was an associate of Wallace Berman, and proprietor of the Batman Gallery. This issue includes contributions from Charles Olson, Aram Saroyan, Anselm Hollo, Jack Hirschman, Ron Padgett, and James Koller.
According to Miller & Price, this was anonymously edited by Olson [Miller & Price D67] but seems more likely to have been edited by Raworth, who was closely associated with the press.
Near fine with some minor toning and creasing to wraps and a couple light traces of soiling to back cover. Item #27129
