All issues published of this important and beautifully produced avant-garde periodical of the 1950's, whose amphibian theme, as Gwen Allen suggests, may have been a response to the reptile themes of other related Scandinavian magazines such as Cobra, and Boa. The periodical was issued from the Galerie Colibri in Mälmo, and only three issues were published.
The first issue includes illustrations of three works by Duchamp, "Bruden som avklädd av sina ungkarlar, t.o.m. Glasmålning", (The Bride Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors, Even ), "Övergång mellan jungfru och brud". Olja 1912. (The Passage from Virgin to Bride), and "Nio hanliga gjutformar, detalj ur glasmålningen". (Nine Malic Moulds detail from the Large Glass.). This issue also includes a Swedish translation of his poem "SURcenSUR", facing a full page reproduction (in yellow, on heavy black paper) of Duchamp’s "Témoins Oculistes (Oculist Witnesses). This issue also includes work by e.e. cummings, Göran Printz-Påhlson, Jan Berg, Lasse Söderberg et al, including a work by Gherasim Luca (ur-Héros-Limite), and a text on Luca by Laaban.
The second issue includes original lithographs by Matta, who also did the cover, and Anders Österlin, ad contributions by James Thrall Soby et al.
The third issue includes contributions by Tomas Tranströmer, Paul Eluard, William Empson, Michel Tapié et al, and graphic work, mostly in color, by Oyvind Fahlstrom, Corneille, Wilfredo Lam et al.
