New York: Tibor de Nagy, 1965. First edition. Square 8vo, bound in decorated wraps designed by Fred R. Siegel. One of only 20 signed and numbered copies of the special edition, this copy also housed in an unprinted glassine wrapper, which we've not previously encountered.
The first edition of the poet's last book to be published in his lifetime, a collection of love poems written for Vincent Warren. John Bernard Myers is credited as editing the book, here more than a mere nod - Myers urged O'Hara to publish the collection for years, and was responsible for the order of this bittersweet sequence.
Light toning, with a slight bump to lower tip, else fine. Item #26854
