The invitation to the Friday 13, 1983 party at The Funhouse, celebrating the two year anniversary of John "Jellybean" Benitz's legendary residency at the club. The verso lists the performers, which notably includes Madonna, more than 2 months before the release of her first album, which which was partially produced by Jellybean, as was the track Phsyical Attraction, which is named on the flyer. The two had met at The Funhouse, and went on to form a romantic and working relationship. Also performing were Warp 9, Rocker's Revenge, and Run D.M.C.
A very rare document of one of the most influential clubs in NYC at the time with one of the most influential producer's of the scene, and, Madonna, in her early club days.
