Np: nd [c. 1975]. 4to, 16 pp, printed on rectos only from typescript. Plastic comb-binding, with glassine cover and card backing sheet. Illustrated with black and white drawings and diagrams. With bibliography.
An early, pre-publication printing of this important text on Catastrophe Machines by a pioneer in chaos theory, written while he was a member of COUM Transmissions. The paper was originally given at a conference held at Battelle Seattle Research Center in 1975, and which predates the publication of his classic work Catastrophe Theory and Its Applications by three years.
This example includes a single holograph correction to a diagram which was incorporated into the first publication of the work in Hilton the year following, leading us to believe that this was an example likely produced for circulation in 1975 or prior, and likely in very small numbers.

Light foxing, with a touch of clouding to glassine and a faint and dissipating aura of mustiness, else very good. Item #25903
