San Francisco: Unsound, c. 1985. 4to, offset printed and stab-stapled into a cover illustrated by Didier Cremieux. With two xeroxed sheets laid in, one soliciting reviews of the publication in other publications, and the other changing an upcoming deadline for submissions.
Early issue of the industrial fanzine, one of the greatest of all west coast zines of the era. Each hefty issue of Unsound brought together elements of industrial culture, mail art, cassette culture, radical movements, and fringe arts of all kinds. This issue includes material on or by Ellen Zweig, Negativland, Karen Finley, Xerox Sutra Editions, Controlled Bleeding et al.
Very good with some toning to covers and light creasing. Item #25878
