New York: Lorenz and Ellen Gude, 1966. First edition. Foolscap format, 31 pp., mimeographed, stab-stapled covers.
The 13th and final regular issue of the seminal little mag of the second generation of the New York School. This issue includes work by Joe Brainard, Ted Berrigan, William Saroyan, Dick Gallup, Pierre Reverdy, Philippe Soupault, Teresa Mitchell, Harry Matthews, Max Jacob, Kenward Elmslie, Apollinaire, Padgett et al.
Covers heavily creased and toned, with a 2" long chip to upper margin of back cover, affenting neither text or image, else about very good.
Sound copies of any issue of C are relatively scarce; the fragility of construction, the bulk of the issues, and the unwieldy foolscap format all contribute to their demise.
