London: Norman Kark Publications, 1951. 8vo, 126 pp, printed wraps.
Early issue of the longrunning little magazine devoted, not only to detective fiction, but also with wierd and macabre fiction. This issue is notable for including Martin Gardner's story "The Horrible Horns" with three illustrations by Austin Osman Spare, as well as Algernon Blackwood's "The Fear of Heights", and The Surly Sullen Bell" by Russell Kirk. With an ALS from David Tibet of Current 93 to a previous owner, noting the Spare contribution.
Very good with some toning and creasing to the wraps. Item #25670
