Paris: 1951. First edition. 4 7/8 x 17 3/45" broadside, letterpress printed on thick green paper. Illustrated after a drawing of leaves by Toyen. One of at least two color variants - we've also seen an example on red paper.

Surrealist manifesto redefining the movement as 'adventure'. The statement was also published in Le Libertaire, and was probably written by Michael Zimbacca, the Syrian filmmaker who collaborated with Jean-Louis Bedouin and Benjamin Peret on the film L'Invention du Monde - see Aspley p. 504.
