Fragment of a Letter to Sinclair [Beiles?]. Carl Weissner, Sinclair Beiles?

Fragment of a Letter to Sinclair [Beiles?]

Np: 1970. 8 1/2 x 11" sheet, typewritten on Weissner's stationary which his Mannheim address. Signed and dated by Weissner at the foot of the letter in orange marker, with the added description "fragment Sinclair letter." Folded twice and badly creased, with a 1" closed tear to left margin and some foxing.

"I have brought up the matter in the course of a speech I delivered before the Mannheim City Council on the subject of "The notional child-rape of Adolf Hitler" (the biggest rat of them all)....... The recipient could well be Sinclair Beiles, one of the innovators of the cut-up technique and a fellow traveler of Weissner. It is unclear if this is an unmailed letter or a retyped copy of a letter which was actually sent to Sinclair. Item #20045
