New York: Lorenz Gude, 1964. First edition. Foolscap format, mimeographed on rectos only; stab-stapled. Collated and complete.
Single issue of the little magazine, which was of of primary importance to the formation of the second New York School. This issue is notable for including a cover and five prefatory pages of art, mostly serial images, by Joe Brainard - some of his most beautiful magazine work. The most beautiful issue of C, and indeed of any little mag of the era.
Cover pulling away from two staples, but still holding; some marginal chipping to covers and leaves, leading to partial loss to two words on the final page, else a solid, very good copy of a notoriously ungainly and fragile magazine. Scarce complete. Item #19460
