San Francisco: Boarding House, nd [c. 1980-81]. 8 1/2 x 11", original xerox from cut-up collage. Near fine with a couple faint spots of foxing.
A flyer issued to promote the Boarding House at its second location in North Beach, which existed for only a short time after it was forced to move from its original location at 960 Bush St. This second incarnation existed only briefly. The flyer advertises the best juke box in S. F. , along with pinball, drinks, and other delights. The original location was an important venue to early punk acts, as well as being perhaps the first venue the Residents ever performed at; this is the only ephemera we've found from this second location.
