4to. 36 pp. Saddle-stapled wraps. The debut issue of this mid 80's zine devoted to cassette culture. Further issues are projected on the masthead, but this is the only issue we have encountered; we do not know if other issues were produced. This issue is basically a catalogue indexing a variety of tape labels and producers in the US, along with contact information. It includes a manifesto outlining cassette culture by Scheuer, an article on Cassettes and the radio by Ggreg Butensky, and a list of publications received. Some toning to internal pages, small crease to one tip but a very good copy.

8vo. xeroxed in b/w from cut-up collage; stab-stapled [copper]. Denoted as the second issue, but we strongly suspect that this is the debut issue of the zine, and the last, produced by the DIY cassette label RASQUAP. It is assigned catalog no. QUAP 5 in the discography, and no issues are listed as predating it, nor have we ever seen an issue no. 1. Includes material on the staggering number of bands associated with the label, most of whom were made of of the same core group of musicians who came out of the punk group the Scabs. . this would make Pessoa dizzy. Kettles in Spring, Boiled Eggs, Changeable Dinosaurs, 3 Legged Chair, Mystery Men, What is Oil?, Nuclear Babies, Platonic Leaves, Oven Ready Pudding Band, Sax on the Phone Band, Unregarded Teeth, The Jakes, Scream Years, Avant-garde Bricklayers, Redundant Lawnmower, 38 Chips. Some minor staining to the wraps but very good.

4to. B/w xerox; stab-stapled [copper]. SIngle issue of the important and long-running fanzine of early 80's cassette culture. Includes a staggering amount of cassette reviews, including early reviews for the Legendary Pink Dots, and features of various labels and acts, including In Phaze, Reachout International Records, Nasmak, Renaldo and the Loaf, Factory Records news, etc. Final leaf detached from upper staple only, some rusting to the staples and a horizontal fold line, still about very good.
