8 1/2 x 11" sheet, offset printed on beige stock. Folded twice, with additional creasing and tack holes at tips; about very good. Original promotional flyer for this February 3rd, race by the legendary quarter mile car. The flyer announces that the car had set a record of 259.6 mph at a January 3rd race that year. As the car would go on to set the long-lived record of 287.7 mph at the same track in 1963, we theorize that this flyer predates 1963, and is perhaps from 1962. Rare early drag racing ephemera from the golden era of experimentation with jet propulsion.
