Description

Approximately 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" sheet of black card stock printed in white. The original beautifully designed handbill for the environment performance series held by Stern and Cassen in 68. Stern was a pioneer of light art who designed light shows for Timothy Leary, and also became known for his extensive work in neon. The handbill draws attention that the site of the theater was around the corne from the loft where Thomas Wilfred held his light experiments in the 20's, providing a nice example of historical contextualization of the light medium in these early days. Some in notes at verso in an unknown hand relating to camera models, else very good with some minor creasing. Rare.
